Life Letter, 17.08.2025

They say your 20s are for “figuring it out”, but if you actually look at what the system tells you to do, there’s no space to figure anything out at all.

Pick a safe degree.

If you’re not sure, pick something broad so you don’t get stuck.

Get the internship.

Move straight into the grad program.

Then climb the ladder.

Save money. Work hard.

Where in that conveyor belt are you meant to pause and ask yourself who you actually are, or what you actually want?

You don’t figure life out by following someone else’s plan. You figure it out by stepping into the unknown.

By trying things that don’t make sense yet.

By going broke on a trip, or failing at a side hustle, or getting lost in a new country and having to find your way.

That’s where the real answers come from.

Clarity doesn’t drop into your lap just because you hit the right milestones in a career you don’t really give a shit about.

It comes when you act, when you risk looking dumb, when you choose the thing that feels alive instead of the thing that looks safe.

So if you feel like you’re “behind” because you don’t have it all mapped out yet, don’t panic. Sit in it, explore, take action. That’s where you’re clarity will come from.

Most people aren’t “figuring” anything out, they’re just following orders.

Maybe that restless part of you is the compass you’ve been ignoring.

Maybe you’re supposed to take the risk.

If you’re someone who makes content online and wants to track what’s actually landing with your audience emotionally, then here’s a copy of the google sheet I made that I personally use, and a little tutorial to explain it too :)

Have an amazing week,
